Ingredients:
2 discs of puff pastry
250 g almond powder
150 g butter, melted
2
whole eggs
1 egg yolk, beaten
175 g sugar
1 small bean or figure (optional)
Preparation:
1 - Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C)
2 - Combine sugar, melted butter, 2 eggs, and the almond powder.
3 - Spread mixture on the first disk of dough, leaving a
2-cm edge; add the bean or toy.
4 - Use a pastry brush to place a layer of egg yolk on the
exposed part of the disk, and cover with the second disk of dough.
5 - With the pastry brush place a layer of egg yolk and bake 25
minutes.
Serve hot or cold
